Detroit forward Dylan Larkin, under contract through 2030-31 at $8.7 million AAV, asked for a trade months ago. As part of that request, he shared a list of preferred teams, which included Florida, Minnesota, and Vegas. Reportedly, that list has been expanded to include Dallas, Colorado, Washington, Tampa Bay, and San Jose (Larkin’s list may contain a total of 10 teams, although that is unclear at this point). Imminent trade rumors have resurfaced recently, amid reports from ESPN Analyst John Buccigross that a deal will occur within the next 7-10 days, although that statement failed to provide Larkin’s destination.
