1. F Matvei Korotky (STL) – The 20 year old, a 7th round pick (211th overall) in 2024, has played his way into a possible depth piece role for the Blues in 2027-28, tallying 10 points (4G 6A) in 14 games for KHL Ska-St. Petersburg. His KHL contract expires after this season, & a move to North America is likely.
2. F Yegor Surin (NSH) – Surin (22nd overall in 2024) also has 10 points (5G 5A) in the KHL this season, playing for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. The highly physical play-driver is projected to join the Preds next season, as his KHL contract also expires following 2026-27.
3. D Vladimir Dravecky (NYI) – The rave reviews continue for the 2026 5th rounder (141st overall). In addition to the Isles’ rewarding him with an entry-level contract, his OHL Guelph coaches have him pegged as a future top-4 d-man in the NHL. He currently logs roughly 24 minutes per night, and plays in all situations for the Storm. He already has 11 points (4G 7A) in 7 games this season.
4. F Adam Andersson (MIN) – A 2026 third round pick (83rd overall), Andersson has 18 points (8G 10A) in 12 games this season in Sweden’s junior league, surpassing his 17- point season total in thirty 2025-26 games (3G 14A). Featuring a polished two-way game, Andersson recently debuted with Leksands IF in Hockey Allsvenskan (Sweden’s second-tier pro division), and looks to build upon an impressive start to the season. The massive 18-year-old pivot (6’4” 209 pounds) is a top-10 prospect in the Wild’s system, and is a player for whom Minnesota traded up in the draft to select.
5. F Jack Berglund (PHI) – Playing for Farjestad BK in Sweden’s highest professional league, Berglund has 10 points (4G 6A), good for a 4th-place tie for most points in the SHL. Berglund already has exceeded his assist total (5) from last season, and is two points shy of his 12-point output in 2025-26. Given his production thus far, coupled with the Flyers’ early-season struggles, the projected 2027-28 arrival for the 20- year-old may be pushed forward.
