Nashville returned forward Brady Martin (5th overall in 2025) and d-man Tanner Molendyk (24th overall in 2023) to AHL Milwaukee. After a slow start in camp, Martin got progressively better, exhibiting a higher pace and showing a much-enhanced comfort level with Nashville’s system over last September. Molendyk turned heads with his exceptional four-way speed and enhanced defensive prowess. A similar head-turning effort was turned in by Swedish pivot Felix Nilsson (43rd overall in 2023), who returns to Rogle BK of the SHL after registering 2 points (1G 1A) in 3 pre-season games, including the OT winner in a dramatic 3-2 victory over Tampa Bay last week.
2026 5th round pick (138th overall), forward Phillip Hemmyr, is off to a terrific start in Sweden’s U20 national league, registering 15 points (6G 9A) in just 7 contests. For his efforts, he is set to begin competition for IF Bjorkloven of the SHL in the near future.
